While we are on the subject of five, as in the First Five, here are five w's- Who, What, When, Where and Why. These five w's -as explained in my media writing class- help to orient the reader, giving them the information they need in order to decide whether or not what they read next will have any relevance to them in their lives...
Who. My name is Greg Lloyd. I am a son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, friend, student, employee, coworker, and roommate to name a few. However, as such and while not overlooking those areas in which I am or am becoming, I do not claim to be perfect, entirely proficient, or particularly skilled in any one of the aforementioned areas.
What. This blog will hopefully have the purpose of sharing, both in a comical and serious manner, whatever it is that I feel worthy of conveyance.
Where. Where will I get my material? Most of what shows up on here will be the direct result of the firing of neurons a mere 15-27 inches away from whatever keyboard I may be typing at (depending on how extended my arms are).
When. Daily? Monthly? Weekly? There isn't now nor do I plan on having a set schedule for when I will post the newest processings of my brain.
Why. The name 'After the First Five' was something I was actually thinking about at work not too long ago. Experts say that the first five years of a child's life are fundamental in determining how that child will grow and mature... what type of person they will be. Mostly, I started thinking what kind of person I am now and what about me I owe to my first five years. Whether or not it links back to what I did, learned, thought, said or was impressed by in those first five years, this blog is intended to share what I do, learn, think, say or am impressed by now... 'After the First Five'.
Enjoy.
Cool blog title. Excited to read more.
