The next five...

That may not be too far from the truth. I started this whole business of a blog to talk about the things that influenced me, etcetera, etcetera. 


Advertising.


That is the big one these days and I am loving it! I got accepted into the BYU Advertising Program back in the end of February and have since been trying to keep myself involved and getting to know people before I actually start taking class in the fall. Little wonder the first campaign I get my hands dirty in? JCPenney. Again. And again I am loving it! There are soo many talented people in the program I really can't wait to get to work with them more. The next few months I will hopefully be busiest getting my skills up to par. It is going to be a long, busy road (by saying the next five years I refer to being in school, and I mean it only half jokingly) but I am very excited. 


Why Advertising Feels Good:
This is the first time I have been on campus till 3:30 am, for the same thing-twice, and completely enjoyed it.
I have realized just how much the teachers seem to care about us and our success.
I have used more googledocs than ever before in my life.
The other students are amazing and give their all in what they do.
Basically, I just get excited about it.


I can't wait till I am the one behind all the that 'clutter' on your facebook, in your magazine, in the middle of your favorite show, 50 decibels too loud after your favorite song... all of it!
