Ekphrastic Poem

It's ok, I didn't know what Ekphrastic meant either until about a week ago. An ekphrastic poem is a poem that describes a work of art. Simple. Secondly, the poem This was another assignment for my creative writing class. My disclaimer is as follows:

I decided not to focus on one specific piece of art that I saw in the exhibit (called Wide Open Spaces) but rather on the exhibit as a whole. This is the poem with an acrostic structure.
